Random Favourites

Hey guys, since it's already June (half year gone already!) I decided to finally go ahead and start with one of my resolutions (I know): to draw more.

Now, I'm always on the run and noticed my iPad it's always with me; watching movies, checking on my emails and texts and whatnot, so the most logical solution for me is to use it as a painting tool too (it works as a remote for my Macbook Pro as well, which is for now, gathering a lot of dust).
Think of this as a personal gig happening at the same time as the Login Screens for Riot Games.

I recently found out about this cool app called Paper on the iPad, which in itself it's pretty fun, but when you combine it with their Bluetooth stylus (called conveniently Pen), it becomes a pretty powerful tool.
I know there's much stronger apps (and styli), with support for layers and extra bad dass pressure sensitivity, but remember, this is just for quick sketching and ideation, if i needed something more complicated, I already have an Intuos and a Cintiq available at all times.
There will be vectors and watercolors here and there as well.

Feel free to comment on it.

I guess it depends on the experience you have in AE, but Videocopilot.net and Motionographer.com are great places to start.
Cheers.

Well I have someone working on a still picture for my Avatar or my look for my youtube gaming channel. I had no clue you did the works for the login page. Kudo's love it. If I provide you with the image as a reference. I just want something simple to use as an intro for my videos. I was wondering how much it would cost.

omg... just. HOW.

After Effects could make that?! or is everything drawn one-by-one? does applying those 'squares' could make it move already? it's quite impossible for 2D being so flexible O_O *melts*

It's normally all AfterEffects (with some plugins, some of them custom made internally). But a few times we use FumeFX.
I upload the video, and just select that section I want, it's actually pretty easy.
Cheers.
